A spectacular complex in earthenware with slender towers and stone sculptures. It perfectly embodies the mix of different architectural styles: from Byzantine elements to a strict Romanian influence, from Gothic verticals to Moorish tunnels. For its construction two brick factories and a tile factory were specially opened. It is said that each brick was first thrown from a height of ten meters to check its solidity, even the smallest crack led to the replacement of the brick, it took 18 years to build it. Famous Austrian, Czech and Bukovinian artists took part in the decoration of the buildings. Coral stone is another widespread decorative element.
