Парк імені Тараса Шевченка (Чернівці) / Parco Taras Shevchenko (Černivci) Chernivtsi urban hromada

Like almost all of Chernivtsi. This park also has its roots during the Austro-Hungarian dominion. Originally it was known as "Volksgarten" (People's Park) and was built inside an old forest, many trees were cut down and replaced with other varieties. The city was still under construction and the need to create a community made this park the first real cultural center of Chernivtsi.
