Good manners, bad ending

Fringueilli (Ernesto Vaser) is a squire who recently got rich and tries to be accepted by the high society, so he practises with the porter the proper use of good manners. However, he ends up bothering those who are rich for real with all his exagerated bows. Moreover, after a series of gaffes around the city, he finally arrives at the party for which he has been practising but he loses one of the buttons of his suspenders: it's easy to imagine the consequences!

The buttons of the suspenders (Itala Film, 1912)
