Nuvola Lavazza Torino

The discovery took place during the excavations started in 2013 and continued until the end of 2014 at the corner of Corso Palermo and Via Ancona. The fact that they are traces of ancient tombs and funerary buildings immediately directed the hypothesis of archaeologists towards the necropolis that arose in Roman and late ancient times. All the remains contained in the most ancient monumental tombs have been exhumed, which suggests that the place was at a certain point, in the Middle Ages, abandoned and later became a quarry of building materials to be reused.
