Built in nothingness
It’s not every day you come across a complex of this magnitude in the middle of a remote village. Many wonder why the cathedral was built here. It is said that the Old Believers chose to settle here because of the white water source. They believed that it could bring luck, hence the name of the village Bila Krynytsia (White Fountain)
