The university building
In 1720, on the second block of the north side of Via Po, the new headquarters of the University was inaugurated, commissioned by Vittorio Amedeo II to reform the education system. The front of the building towards the street follows the architecture of the street. The main entrance is the one on Via della Zecca (now Via Verdi). Here in 1834 a new portal will be built by Giuseppe Talucchi. For further details see the dedicated POI.
