Coffee at the royal plate racks

An incredible café is located in the rooms where royal breakfast and lunch sets were stored in 5-metres high cabinets that looked like a premodern pharmacy. The café is accessible both from Piazza San Giovanni and the main entrance of the Palace, at the end of the inner courtyard on the left.

The photo shows the tea room set up, in line with the luxurious sobriety of the entire building from the outside, while the dishes in the cabinets are a preview of the splendour of the upper floors
