During the bombing of World War II, the entire villa suffered serious damage, first the Chiablese Palace, of which there is no trace and the right wing, later rebuilt. After the war, the building, now owned by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, was gradually abandoned to itself.
