The origins

At the end of the 16th century, Duke Carlo Emanuele I donated the land of the mountain to the Capuchin fathers, who built a convent and later a church in Baroque style. In 1989, restoration work led to the discovery of two skeletons buried inside the building, probably of two churchmen.
