Until the Second World War there was a cableway linking the Cappuccini Mountain to the city. It was built in 1885, drawing inspiration from the tramway that connected Sassi with Superga. After 57 years because of the war it was no longer used and its station was definitively closed. It's worth mentioning the miracle that took place in 1640 during the siege of Turin.
