The building is now in a deplorable state. The luxurious windows are broken, the stuccoes are falling away, but nevertheless the building still seems to stand. The temple’s majestic spire, which seems to reach the clouds, has been preserved, as have several stained glass windows at the top of the building. Currently the temple is being rebuilt and people hope that in a few years the situation will change and that the building will return to its former glory.
