The church during the second world war

The church of San Secondo was hit by air raids of the 8th December 1942 and of the 13th July 1943. Incendiary bombs caused glass damage, injuries to the external walls and to the facade, damage to the vaults and to the fixtures. In June 1944, there was no restoration: but in November 1944, repair operations of chance were executed. Currently on the area there is a modern five-storey building above ground that hosts the San Secondo parish's locals .
