Chiesa del Suffragio e Santa Zita Torino

The particularity of the bell tower is its considerable height and the limited width of its base: just five meters. In addition, the structure marries mixed construction techniques: the lower part with a square base, in solid brick masonry; the upper one, with an octagonal base, is made of lighter perforated bricks. Each side is punctuated by round-shaped windows and four dials of the clock. Also the spire is made of cast iron and surmounted by an angel of the Apocalypse who plays the trumpet.
