Valentino's "bealera"

The layout of a channel is mentioned since the fifteenth century: it derives, like all those that feed the city and its surroundings, from the Dora river, through the "bealera" of Martinetto, which arises from the "ficca della Pellerina". The path of the channel, probably today intubated in a sewage of white waters, goes around the area of the Citadel before serving for irrigation the entire area of San Salvatore.
