Newts and marine animals for the fountain
The fountain, with the sculptures made by Filippo and Ignazio Collino, metaphorically depicts Dora Baltea as she dives into the Po. Newts and other marine figures seem to emerge from the water by creating a strong visual impact. Recently, the Conservation and Restoration Center "La Venaria Reale" and the University of Turin have restored the fountain.
