Area Valdocco Torino

In 1906 the Ferriere Piemontesi moved here from Avigliana, where they were born in 1891. They are one of the engines of development of the industrial Turin: the plant is enlarged up to occupy almost 400.000 square meters, occupying a good part of the lots of Spina 3. In the initial phase the masonry buildings prevail, then, with the largest dimensions, the sheds in metallic carpentries, of which remains a testimony in the iron exoskeleton that houses the service center of the Environmental Park.
