Area Valdocco Torino

In 1917, in the middle of the war period, Fiat acquired the group of Piedmontese Ironworks and Metallurgical Industries. In particular, the Valdocco plant houses the Acciaieria 1, the rolling mills and the fittings division. Production continues at full speed for another 70 years, under the name Teksid in the last decades. To accommodate the requests for progressive expansions, it was decided to cover the Dora to extend the mills' warehouses (as seen on the left in the photo)
