Po Delta Park project aims to enhance the ancient abandoned salt mine for naturalistic purposes (the observation of the Greater Flamingo) with reduced impact and to rehabilitate a small salt mine for educational purposes. The management is committed to the Monopoli di Stato, authority that is also in charge the still productive salt mine of Cervia, under the Park`s supervision. Bird watching tours are organized on requests in the company of specialized guides and avoiding the disturbance of the bird species nesting in the area.
