An ancient hill

The entire complex of the 2500-hectare nature reserve contributes to the preservation of the Ukrainian national heritage. It develops in length rather than in width, along the banks of the Dnipro river, far from the inhabited center. In particular the Hill of Taras, where the museum and the tomb are located, formerly belonged to the Kaniv Monastery of the Holy Dormition (Eastern Orthodox) located there since the 11th century.

in the image, taken from Google Earth, the precise point of the Taras hill is in orange.
