The largest mountain lake in Ukraine and the most famous in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
The largest body of water in the Ukrainian Carpathians, a lake of fantastic beauty, surrounded by emerald forests and snow-capped mountain peaks. Here, wild nature has been preserved, and not ruined by humans. In the center of the lake, there is a small island that reminds a pupil, hence the popular name - Sea Eye of the Carpathians.

Racconti / "Sen e Ver"
Secondo la leggenda, il lago si è formato dalle lacrime di Sen, figlia di un conte ma innamorata di un semplice pastore. Per evitare il matrimonio tra i due, il conte fece uccidere l'amante Ver con un blocco di ghiaccio in testa. Due scultori, Ivan Brody e Mikhail Sanich hanno scolpito in prossimità del lago un monumento che rappresenti la coppia.
