Removal of the statue (26.04.2022)
After the Russian invasion, on 25 april 2022, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, announced the removing of the sculpture having lost its ideological meaning. The next day the sculpture will be removed.
The head of one fellow fell down during the removing.
