Ippodromo di Mirafiori Torino

In 1904, the municipality and the military authorities bargained the barter for the displacement of the square "d'Armi" to the land today included between the paths IV Novembre, Lepanto Ferraris and Sebastopoli, where currently is present the racecourse of the Piedmontese Society of the Races. The Society, being forced to find new spaces for the races, identified an area at Mirafiori which is included between the current paths Unione Sovietica, Tazzoli, Croce and Vigliani. In 1906 the inauguration took place and the reacecourse remained to Mirafiori until the 1958, when it was decided to build a new one in Vinovo.
