Piazza Maggiore Este

The square, of almost 300 years ago, actually has the current structure, perfecting the one already configured for over two centuries. In historical maps the city center is always represented as an organic system of squares, with Piazza Maggiore almost not separated from Piazza della Legna (the current Piazza Trieste). The first one with the role of representation and the second one of service.
