President Saragat's house
At number 5 of Via IV Marzo, indicated by a plaque placed in December 2014( 50 years after his election), there is the birthplace of Giuseppe Saragat, fifth president of the Italian Republic from 1964 to 1971. Among the 12 Italian Presidents, Piedmont boasts the largest number with three people. In addition to Saragat, Luigi Einaudi from 1948 to 1955 and Oscar Luigi Scalfaro from 1992 to 1999.
