Piazza and Quattro Marzo street were built in the late nineteenth century by the demolition of narrow streets and buildings of popular housing. With Pietro Micca street, it was one of the two central streets called "Diagonali" that modified the Roman structure that had lasted for almost two millennia, practically intact.
