The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum is settled in the new wing of the Palazzo del Collegio dei Nobili in 1824. During the same year, Carlo Felice of Savoy bought the Drovetti collection to the tune of 400, 000 lire. It is the most ancient Egyptian Museum and the most important after the one of Cairo. After some years of work realized on the project of the study "Isola Associati", the Museum reopened in 2015 with an avant-garde setup in the museum field and with new rooms occupying some of the spaces previously reserved to the Galleria Sabauda.
