The incomplete buildings (18th century)

The square is an undefined space until the middle of the 18th century when the fitting-out work of Alfieri began. The Collegio dei Nobili (from the Jesuits project) is built on the sud of the block. This block is completed in the 20th century while the others have been never realized. The adjacent San Filippo church by Juvarra will become in 1730 the biggest church of the city.
