Piazza San Carlo Torino

The scenographic illumination of the churches and the square with empire-style reversed cornucopia street lamps (Guido Chiarelli, 1960s) was part of the public lighting plan that made Turin the new Ville Lumière. An integrated software system (2013) regulates lighting according to the number of people and is linked to a wi-fi system.
