Piazza Carlo Alberto Torino

Inserted in the urban fabric of the first extension, between Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo, the square was created from the ancient garden of Palazzo Carignano. In addition to the Palazzo Carignano, which was built to house the Italian Parliament until 1864, the National Library, the Subalpine Gallery and Palazzo Campana, the University’s historic seat, are located on the square.
