D'Agennes Theater

At the end of the 18th century, in via Principe Amedeo 24, there was a sort of popular theater, run by the tailor Lorenzo Guglielmone, given to him by the owner of the building, the marquis D'Agennes. When at the end of the century the Carignano theater burned down, the Marquis, as a temporary replacement, restructured his own, so that he could host opera performances. In 1891 it was renamed Gianduia from the name of the Piedmontese mask.

The theater. Dalsani, 1898.
