The writer of Ligurian origins Edmondo De Amicis, in 1899 following the disastrous events of his life, moved to the top floor of Via Pietro Micca 10; here he wrote many of his works and stayed there for a few years and the he returned to his homeland. The tiny apartement, which now houses a commercial studio, has no change during years; the walls, painted playing on beige and green shades, kept the original decorations, halfway between the neoclassical style of 19th century and the Art Nouveau of 20th century. The furnishings are the same as those from the time: a solid wooden desk, two chairs, a small dresser and opalescent cathedral glass windows. Only the parquet floor is posterior.
