Viale del Re continues to west

To the west the avenue continues with buildings with arcades and terraces on the north side and with buildings and gardens on the south side, until forming an octagonal square at the corner with Corso Galileo Ferraris, where in the middle stands the monument to the King Vittorio Emanuele II. The arcades continue to the Vinzaglio course, then the course crosses the railway and continues its route to the west. Once the course was closed on the western edge by the Boringhieri brewery, with garden and beer garden. After the last war the factory was demolished and on the area, between Corso Tassoni and Corso Ferrucci, a tree-lined square was opened, Piazza Adriano. From the square to the intersection with Corso Francia, the course continues with tree-lined countervilali flanked by modern buildings.

Map of about 1910, in which it is visible that the course was not yet complete.
