Свято Купала / Ivan Kupala Falkiv

The water is one of the characteristic element of Ivan Kupala's celebration and of its rites: in the morning, it was custom to wash oneself with the dew or in the rivers, this was helping to preserve the beauty and youth other than being purified from evil. Today the bathe was substituted with some jokes popular especially between the youngest generation, which get each other wet during the celebration.
