Свято-Іверський чоловічий монастир / Monastero di Sant'Iversky Odesa Urban Hromada

Since it was located in strategic terrain, in 1998, a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was held, presided over by the Metropolitan of Kiev and all of Ukraine. During the meeting, the bishops decided to bless the opening of a new monastery in honor of the Iberian icon of the Mother of God in Odessa.
