Bosio & Caratsch Brewery

Italy's first brewery was founded in 1845. In 1870, it moved its headquarters to the San Donato district in a complex equipped with cellars, an icehouse and a tasting room. The brewery used a production method based "solely on the use of hops and barley", and was awarded a gold medal at the Esposizione dell'Industria Italiana in Turin in 1898, a prize it won again in 1911. In 1937 it was absorbed by Birra Pedavena.
