At the service of peace and the poorest
The Youth Missionary Service was founded right before 1968, to "stop hunger and the great injustices of the world, build peace, help young people find an ideal of life" and raise awareness among the public at large on the problems of the poorest countries. Subsequently, Sermig began tackling poverty in Turin as well.
