The rifle that killed Kennedy

The history of the arsenal of Turin, today a place of peace, does not stop to weave stories of hope and stories of death. Right here, in fact, was produced the rifle with which was killed US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy in 1963, at a time when world peace was on the line because of the contrasts of the Cold War. The weapon, called Carcano mod. 91 (the Italian army's order rifle from 1891 to 1945) was created here by the royal gunsmith Salvatore Carcano, who during the years of Cavour prepared the weapons for the troops to be sent to Crimea.
