Sentiero delle pietre bianche Candia Canavese

The trail offers hikers three possible routes that, crossing eleven municipalities, connect numerous attractions in the Canavese area. These include the natural beauty of the Lake Candia’s Natural Park, the vineyards of Erbaluce di Caluso, the Vais Stone of Montalenghe, but also artificial creations such as the dam and mines of Mazzè, the Canale Naviglio of Ivrea and the Elevator of Cigliano. From a historical and artistic point of view, the trail encounters the Castelvecchio di Montalenghe and the Castello di Moncrivello. There are also numerous places of prayer, such as the Church of Santo Stefano in Candia, the Church of San Martino in Villareggia and the sanctuaries of the Beata Vergine del Trompone and Madonna di Miralta in Moncrivello.
