As we have seen, Petrykivka’s style evolved in history beyond simple painting on walls, but distinguishing itself from many other forms of art by its versatility in taking shape on different objects on which it was applied, even the most modern ones. Petrykivka models were used to design bank credit cards; they also took part into monumental art and clothing. In 2000, 2001 and 2013 "Ukrposhta" (national postal operator of Ukraine) issued a series of stamps in his honor, and in 2016, the National Bank of Ukraine minted a commemorative coin worth 5 Hryvnia, dedicated to the decorative art of Petrykivka.
